Have you been noticing the interest in aprons that has been showing up lately on the television and in all of the magazines? Our local paper even did a big article this summer on the popularity of the vintage style aprons. We sold out of our first shipment around Mother's Day but have started getting more in, and we found some Mother Daughter sets this summer that are adorable and a little more affordable. We do have more coming in from the original order that many of you have been asking about and some for Christmas that are really cute. What a great memory maker these would be for a mom and daughter or a grandma and granddaughter....I love them!! and hope you do too!!

I will have to admit these little pumpkins are among some of my favorite things of our fall merchandise. We have carried these little guys in all sorts of designs and sizes over the years and they continue to be one of our best sellers. You can do so much with them...here we have them shown in a three tiered pedestal set, but they look adorable sitting in a candle ring or in an arrangement of Indian corn or corn husks. These say Give Thanks and Be Thankful. We also have some that say welcome friends and instead of the willow tree they have a pineapple on the front. Do you need to either start or add to your collection? I know that I did this year.

What would Halloween be without spooky houses?? We love these and they are so easy to work into a display because they are not so big and bulky. We also have a great silhouette of houses and trees and a black tree complete with orange lights that will make your mantle or entry table look very goolish!!

Our twinkle lights are finally back in!! and hopefully we got enough in this time to last a while (in fact I have another shipment coming in right behind them) these little lights make such a difference to your arrangements, we use them year round on top of hutches, inside cabinets and in wreaths. They are so easy to use and fun too! They have about 8 settings that make the lights dance or stay motionless. Don't confuse these with regular mini Christmas lights, they are definitely not the same..they are brighter and stand out alot more and last a lot longer. The ones we have on display in the shop stay on 24/7 and last up to one and a half years!! We got them displayed this week so come take a look. Our orange ones are not in yet but should be by next week unless hurricane Ike blows them back out to sea!!

Look at these cute gourd figures!! and they light up so they are adorable in an arrangement or even outside on the porch..or how about in a window to greet those Halloween visitors. No carving and no mess, Just cute!! The black "spooky tree" would set off any Halloween display perfectly and it comes with the orange lights ready to go!! To tie all of our arrangement together we added some fall leaves and cute little pumpkin head girl that is holding her Halloween banner...Too Cute!!





For those of you who don't do Halloween we have them in
scarecrow faces too!! and they are wonderful! These guys can go out now and stay out until you change things for Christmas!! You are just decorating for the fall season..how easy is that!! You could use them on a mantle with a fluffy fall garland, on an entry table...sit one inside of a wreath that you have turned on its side and every time you or your family come through the door it will make you smile!!

These gourds are American made and will last you many many seasons, this is all we have left so don't wait long!!

All dressed up for fall and loving every minute!! Don't you just love this time of year? I will love it more when our temperatures cooperate 95+ in the month of Sept is pushing it for sure...but all the colors of fall are enough to put a bounce in your step and just not care about the temps outside!! Another new piece of our furniture that is now on the floor and ready to be taken home!!

I love the new furniture pieces we just unloaded. This is a new company that we found during our winter market trips and their work is wonderful! We got seven new pieces from them in all price ranges but each and every one very unique and wonderfully made. One piece found a home before we could even get it decorated!! Gotta love that!!
