Plot: In the year 1752, Joshua and Naomi Collins, through young son Barnabas, set sail from Liverpool, England to ~le a new life in America. But equable an ocean was not enough to flee from the mysterious curse that has plagued their kindred. Two decades pass and Barnabas (Johnny Depp) has the earth at his feet-or at smallest the town of Collinsport, Maine. The master of Collinwood Manor, Barnabas is productive, powerful and an inveterate playboy…to the time when he makes the grave mistake of breaking the heart of Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green). A ravish, in every sense of the word, Angelique dooms him to a destiny worse than death: turning him into a parasite, and then burying him alive. Two centuries later, Barnabas is heedlessly freed from his tomb and emerges into the true changed world of 1972. He returns to Collinwood Manor to remark that his once-grand estate has fallen into overwhelm. The dysfunctional remnants of the Collins line of ancestors have fared little better…
